Creating a logo for yourself can be one of the most difficult tasks a designer can face. When I was tackling that challenge I wanted a bold and minimal logo that was very versatile. I also wanted the logo to change in many ways such as position, shape and style, and the all the while still retain it’s impact. My logo is a combination of symbols, the first being a lower case “d”. Representing the first initial in my name. The second being a fish hook. Fishing was common in my childhood and on a personal level it symbolizes youth.
